Jimmy Glenn, one of boxing’s legends has a bar called Jimmy’s Corner that was across the street from our hotel. The bar is awesome. The juke box was holding my attention, and Jimmy himself is always on hand to, in the words of New York magazine, “keep it real”. Highly recommended.
A big draw at this place is the wall of messages written to Jimmy on one dollar bills. We left him a thank you from MTV in Canada:
