i started a band called Cool a week ago. here was our first practice. the practice consisted of going to see crystal castles play a secret show at tiger bar in toronto.
here’s the clear version:
Last night Toronto’s hottest new rock band Diemonds debuted. I’m split on these guys - on the one hand, they’re a great band. On the other, they kicked me out of the band after 3 practices. result: EFF DIEMONDS, MAN. EFF THEM.
On the third hand, they were really good live. they’re going to be recording soon and i will be doing a remix. or else.

unfortunately, due to family issues, i wont be around all weekend. so my appearance at lust for kicks is cancelled and the debut of my DJ crew will have to go down without me. here’s the flyer if you live in toronto:
note how my name is on the flyer, but i wont be playing. i think this is the debut of jon friis in toronto, and he is going to be a huge name to look out for. my jaw drops repeatedly every time i watch him play.
