The new Pilotpriest continues the journey through space and time. Is this a love song? Like most Pilotpriest, this track gets better with age. Show him some love by visiting his myspace: http://www.myspace.com/pilotpriest
Last week was Toronto Fashion week. Local designers’ showing off their clothes, and the fashion industry thinking they really know how to throw a party.
The highlight was Philip Sparks’ bringing the gentlemanly knitwear and ye olde teeshirts. Your regular old modern tee is boring me lately, I like his 19th century look.
The real party was the music in Toronto this week. Justice came through, yes, on the myspace tour, but their DJ set at a fashion week offshoot party is what people are talking about. I talked to them a little bit before the set - watch for the interview on MTV Live soon.
Meanwhile Avery brought So Me’s first ever art show to the city. A gallery filled with prints making fun of Busy P. More proof that So Me has the right attitude.
That was just the beginning. Simian Mobile Disco’s set at circa was the best club music I’ve heard at that venue. If you get the chance to see them DJ, do it.
The highlight of the week was DJ AM and Team Canada DJs at Guvernment. Make no mistake, just because DJ AM has dated every hot celebritard in LA doesn’t say much about his DJing. He killed it in one of the biggest rooms in the city.
His boys the Team Canada DJs are my new favorite DJs. They’ve gone from being two of the world’s best mashup DJs to being so much more. i think that the Gang Starr Full Clip remix at
This past weekend we got jiggy with Red Foxx aka SLUTTT aka Rad Forxx of Boston. He’s got serious fire burnin in his belly, amazing new tracks, and really brought his A game on the decks. If you missed it, here’s some photographic evidence.
Cut Copy’s new album In Ghost Colours is coming out March 22, but you can stream it now on their myspace (click here). This album is proof that spelling “colours” properly will take you places.

I told Sharlene i would be secreting a marriage to Zooey Deschanel and she should keep that in mind while she’s at SXSW.
Lil’ Wayne has hit back with his first single from Tha Carter III by out-lollipopping 50 cent, out-T-Paining Snoop, and out-huge-vegas-videoing the 90s. He’s not the candy rapper some have accused him of. After so many stuttering stop starts to this album, You know he had to come back big, right?
This is a proper continuation of Wayne’s latest mythology. “is Wayne crazy?” all the magazines have been asking. Crazy famous. He’s pulling a king of pop. Is this a black leather, one-gloved declaration that he is the King of Rap?
Tonight it’s a Styrofoam Ones show in T Dot:
Then a Nacho-tastic good time next door with Nacho Lovers’ Scott Seewhale:
Then tomorrow the biggest party of the week unless you’re gonna go see David Guetta on saturday. HA HA. Red Foxx aka SLUTTT from Boston:
Yes that’s a word
